Our puppies are born and raised in our home, with each litter being carefully planned to produce beautiful and healthy Dobermanns with a friendly and sound temperament.
We strive for the very best health and longevity within our bloodlines and offer a 5-year written health guarantee with each and every puppy. The following health tests are performed on all of our breeding stock to help ensure the health of our puppies, namely;
Heart screening through ultrasound and/or 24 hour Holter, hip joint formation is x-rayed and certified to ensure that our lines are free of Hip Dysplasia, eye testing through CAER to screen for hereditary blindness called PHPV/PTVL, von Willebrand‘s disease is screened out 100% through DNA testing by VetGen, and thyroid is checked to ensure that thyroid disease is not genetically passed down to the offspring.
In addition to good health, all breeding dogs must display good temperament. Our dogs are to demonstrate a love for people and should never be aggressive without provocation. For the love of this breed, any Dobermann that does not meet all breeding criteria will be spayed or neutered and placed in a loving home to live out their days as a family pet.
Our puppies are raised within a family environment in order to expose them to constant socialization. During their time here the pups are exposed to as many different healthy situations as possible in order to ready them for their new lives.
The dam has an important roll in rearing the litter. So even though she will likely stop nursing the pups around 6 weeks of age, she will be allowed to visit with the litter for as long as she is willing to.
Every litter is raised on a highly nutritious, naturally preserved commercial diet that is mixed with specially formulated home-prepared food and nutritional supplements. A list of recommended foods, suggested dietary supplements, and cooked (stew) recipes are included in each puppy package. Also included in the puppy package is a list of safe toys and treats for your puppy, grooming information, and training tips.
We breed, show and promote our Dobermans, however our puppies are available to approved owners that wish to own a quality Dobermann for companionship above all else. The following is *included with the purchase of a Dobereich "puppy";• First vaccination and veterinary certificate • Full de-worming • Rear dew-claw removal (if applicable)• Tail docking • ear cropping (may be available upon the purchaser’s request)• Microchip identification• CKC registration (non-breeding) • Five year written health guarantee • Minimum of 4 pounds of puppy food • Puppy’s first collar • Four generation Pedigree • Dobereich Starter booklet (training and nutritional advise) • 6 weeks of health and accident insurance policy (By Pet Assurance, Canada only)• Lifetime support and free advice
*based on location, availability, and approval Puppies will not be sold to Brokers for resale or for commercial purposes. We do not advocate the practices of the Doberman outcross project (mixing of breeds, sometimes referred to the Doberman diveristy program). We do not advocate the breeding of Albino Dobermanns!
