What Our Clients Say
Our first Dobereich Doberman was Dante..F-litter 2008. We spent over 10 years with Dante and during that time we added a second dog to family...Kazi, N-litter 2011. Loving the breed so much, and of course the Dobereich Dobermans we are still so pleased we choose Monica, and that she trusted us with her dogs. As many will attest to in these pages, buying a dog from Monica is the first transaction you will have with her as she will be in your lives helping you care for your Dobe. You will experience her dedication to the breed, to her dogs, and to her clients. Currently we are sharing our home with Charlie who is a Dobereich Retired Female Doberman. We, and she, are giving eachother the best experiences possible...just enjoying eachother day to day. In order of pictures.....top is of Kazi, next is our handsome Dante, and the next 2 are of Charlie. Each so different from the other....but each so special to us! Thank you Monica so much for your trust in us.

Nearly two years ago, we lost our fifteen-and-a-half year old Doberman, Kya. While we realized the hole that she would leave in our hearts, we didn’t realize the hole it would leave in our home. Within a week of her passing, we were on the phone with Monica, speaking about an upcoming litter that she had planned.
We had done a lot of research, preemptively, never expecting a Doberman to live as long as ours did, and had repeatedly come across towering reviews of Dobereich Dobermans, as well as meeting a few of her dogs at local pet expos. They were not just beautiful dogs, but all seemed even-tempered and confident.
We drove out, and met some of her dogs in person, and upon being approved, we received Indy a couple of months later. He was (and is) a dream, from the second he got in the truck for the drive home. He has proven to be an incredibly smart boy; he’s driven, eager to learn and work, but is also a couch-potato when it’s time to settle and relax.
We love him so much, that after some consideration, we wanted to add another Doberman to our family. Penny has been the perfect addition to our family and is a great companion for Indy. She, too, is a dream thus far; and we can’t wait to see them grow up together.
We can say, with confidence, that we’re committed to Dobereich from this point forth.

Preston, picture: 2.5 months and 19 months. Mom's lap is still the best place to snuggle.
Monica is the epitomy of a wonderful breeder, producing beautiful European Dobermans with wonderful temperaments. Her dogs are excellent at being family pets, but also have the determination to compete in sports and the beauty to hold their own in a conformation ring. Monica is also a wealth of knowledge when it comes to Dobermans and takes so much pride in her lines.
Originally, we were looking for a female doberman but only 1 was born in the whole litter (pretty unusual in a litter of 8). After much debate with my partner about possibly switching to a male (we just wanted our puppy already!), I spoke to Monica about the difference between owning a male vs female Doberman. Monica took the time out of her very busy life (8 new puppies!) and spent multiple phone calls and emails explaining the difference between the two. She even went as far as to tell me what I would be looking at specifically from this litter in terms of temperment from males vs females based on the parents and even grandparents (Preston turned out exactly how she described. She knows her dogs and lines so well!) During this time, she never pushed anything on us, but instead made sure we had all the information we needed to make a well informed decision regarding our puppy.
A few months later, I became interested in conformation and decided to look into the possibility of showing Preston and again contacted Monica for her advice and support. Monica walked me through the process of showing him (it would be her lines out in the ring after all) and we decided to move forward with his first show. He did amazing, finishing his Canadian champion in just three weekends. Since then we have also trialed in scent detection and rally obedience and gotten our champion trick dog title and CGN.
We have nothing but wonderful things to say about Monica and her dogs. We absolutely love Preston and have accomplished so much with him, but most important, he is our beautifully, well tempered family pet who fits perfectly into our lives. He is exactly what we told Monica we wanted in our dog.

My first Dobereich dog was a 4 year old male. The owner was moving overseas and Monica was re-homing him. He’s now 9. What a fantastic dog, he’s got a super temperament, and a ton of energy. Absolutely gorgeous too. Everyone who meets him comments.
Last year I decided to get a puppy. My wee girl came home at 8 weeks. Little Monarch was raised the way every puppy deserves to be raised. She had the best of care from the start.
I love that Monica loves the breed and breeds with much thought and care. The parents are completely health tested. Monica is available for questions and provides the necessary information to care properly for the pup! Monarchs ears had been cropped and Monica took care of all the taping as I’m fairly close by.
These dogs are smart! Beauty, brains and temperament in one.
I totally recommend Dobereich Kennel.

After a lengthy conversation on the phone, you invited me to come meet your dogs. On a cold day in February 2013 you let your dogs out in pairs and my quest to find the right breeder stopped. I fell in love with Apollo, so handsome, good temperament, beautiful coat and of course that big beautiful head. The one who really stole my heart was Isis, she was 14yrs old at the time and I thought to myself what great longevity in Dobereich lines. A few years after Nino. Eden came into our life and she celebrated her 10th birthday this year and is still going strong.
When deciding to purchase a dog the breeder plays a very important role. I can only speak for myself and say the Monica has always been there for me. When I go to the vet, I always confer with Monica if this is the best course of action as she knows the breed better than most. Many times I have gone against the recommendation of the vet and followed Monica’s advice and she has always been right.
I would like to thank you Monica for what you do for the Doberman breed and for all the support that you have given me over the years.

In 2017, our older doberman was 8 years old and we knew in a few years we would want to add another puppy to our home. Our old doberman was from a family who had one litter by accident and were not even considered proper or backyard breeders. We started researching breeders from the DPCC website over the years, and always asked people we bumped into with Dobermans on the street, where they got their Dobe from. We did meet several Dobermans from Dobereich and have seen a few of their lives on social media. All of the owners we met over the years had nothing but good things to say about Monica and her dogs. She was one of our top choices by the time we finally reached out to her late in 2019. After interviewing with a few other breeders, we shortlisted Monica for an in person meeting and when we met her in person, we knew she was the breeder we wanted to choose. Her passion for her dogs and the homes they go to is amazing, as well as the temperament of all the dogs we met in her home, as well as those we have met as strangers over the years.
When the litter was born and we finally were able to pick our pup, we couldn't be more thrilled! She provided great updates and support the whole process. I had a thousand and one questions and she did address them all. She also provided an extensive puppy booklet which focuses on vaccinations, dietary requirements, general care as well as appropriate toy recommendations! So much time and effort was placed into preparing this information for first time Doberman owners. If we only had this when we got our first dog who is now 11 years old, it would have made a world of difference.
After our puppy Captain came home, it confirmed that we absolutely made the correct choice in Monica and Dobereich. His personality, temperament and intelligence is amazing. He was a bit of an annoying puppy to our old Dobe at first but once they got to know each other, they are now playing all the time, almost non stop!
Sending the puppy home did not stop breeder support, we went back to Monica a few times for puppy play dates and ear taping sessions as she wanted to ensure we post properly and to help us with any corrections we may need in order to get the perfect posted ear results.
We fully appreciate all the support from Monica and recommend Dobereich to everyone! We would definitely return to Dobereich for our next Dobe in future. The ongoing support is amazing and we wouldn't have it any other way.
